The arrest of the school's bursa, Madam Sarah Lamisi was confirmed by the area’s Member of Parliament and Regional Minister, Linda Ocloo.

She said her office received reliable information that the bursar had been diverting some of the food supplies meant to feed students.
The Minister described the situation as very worrying, explaining that the food is important for students’ health and well-being, and misusing it is a serious abuse of trust.
She said she ordered officials to hand the bursar over to the police so the law can take its course, adding that investigations are still ongoing.
The Minister also noted that incidents like this damage public trust and harm students. She stressed that anyone found guilty will be held accountable and punished according to the law. She reaffirmed her commitment to protecting students and ensuring honesty in public institutions.
