The Tema Regional Police Command has arrested four students of Ada Senior High Technical School following the circulation of a disturbing viral video allegedly showing a student brandishing a cutlass and threatening fellow students on campus.

In a statement issued on May 22, 2026, the police said the incident was brought to their attention at about 12:10 a.m. after the video surfaced on social media.

According to the statement, a police night patrol team was immediately deployed to the school to address the situation.

With support from school authorities, police arrested three identified suspects — Raymond Gyamfi, 18, Oscar Amemoair, 18, and Odartey Wilson, 18 — along with a juvenile who also appeared in the video.

The police indicated that all four suspects are currently in custody assisting with investigations.

The Tema Regional Police Command further urged students to settle disputes peacefully through established school channels rather than resorting to violence or intimidation.

The Command also appealed to parents and school authorities to intensify supervision, guidance, and discipline among students to help ensure safety and order in schools.

Police assured the public that investigations into the matter are ongoing and that further updates will be provided in due course.
