What These Cut-Off Points Mean
The University of Ghana uses aggregate scores to determine eligibility for admission. The lower the aggregate, the better the chances of gaining admission into competitive programmes.
For example:
- Aggregate 7 is required for Medicine and Law.
- Aggregate 8 is required for Pharmacy and Business Administration.
- Aggregate 12 is required for Nursing.
- Aggregate 7 is required for Computer Science.
- Aggregate 18 is required for Psychology.
Aggregate 16–17 is required for Bachelor of Arts.
