The Ghana Police Service has launched a nationwide manhunt for Prince Krah, who has been declared wanted in connection with the murder of two people at Saki, near Tema Golf City in the Greater Accra Region.

In a press statement issued by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on May 6, 2026, police confirmed that the suspect, believed to be about 30 years old, is being sought in relation to the killing of a couple who were found dead inside their room on May 1, 2026.
According to preliminary investigations, Krah had been living in the same chamber-and-hall apartment with the victims — Mr. Ebenezer Kwabena Obiri, approximately 45 years old, and Ms. Mary Anim, about 22 years old. Both victims were found with multiple machete wounds, a detail that has heightened public concern over the violent nature of the crime.
Police further revealed that Mr. Obiri was last seen in the company of the suspect on the night of April 30, 2026, just hours before the victims were discovered.
Following investigations, the Kpone Magistrate Court issued a warrant for the arrest of Prince Krah on May 4, 2026, authorizing his immediate apprehension.
Authorities describe the suspect as dark in complexion, approximately 5.7 feet tall, and of stout build. He was reportedly last seen wearing a Lacoste shirt and jeans trousers. Police also indicated that Krah, who is believed to be a military officer, has since gone into hiding.
Investigators say information gathered so far suggests the suspect may be within the Kakusunanka area or possibly around the Kamina Barracks in Tamale, as efforts to locate him continue across multiple regions.
In a bid to accelerate the search, the Ghana Police Service has announced a GH¢100,000 reward for credible information that leads to his arrest. Authorities are urging members of the public to assist with any useful leads.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact the nearest police station or call 191 or 112,” the statement emphasized.
The announcement was signed by Chief Inspector Brigitte Babanawo, Public Relations Officer of the CID, who assured the public that investigations are ongoing and that the suspect will be brought to justice.
