Nearly six out of every 10 health workers in Greater Accra are considering quitting their jobs, according to a new study. Researchers cite understaffing, excessive workload, overtime and workplace violence as major factors driving turnover intentions.

Assault at Tema Comm. 22 polyclinic; convict ordered to pay victim (midwife) GH¢5,000
A man who assaulted a midwife at Tema Community 22 Polyclinic has been convicted by the Community 22 District Court. The court fined him 100 penalty units, ordered him to pay GH¢5,000 in compensation to the victim, and barred him from visiting the facility for 12 months. The incident stemmed from a dispute over hospital visiting hours and was captured on video.
